Our History
Our story began in 1972 with the purchase of a small heating oil company and local gas station. Over the years, the business grew steadily, serving customers with the same commitment to reliable fuel and friendly local service that continues today.
What started with a single propane truck eventually expanded into something much bigger. In 1998, the family established Northeast Oil & Propane, growing the propane fleet and adding a dedicated service department to better support customers’ home comfort needs. In 2003, the family further expanded its presence with the acquisition of Uncas Gas, a well-established full-service propane company.
Today, those companies have come together under the Northeast Oil & Propane name, combining decades of experience, trusted local relationships, and a shared commitment to providing dependable fuel, HVAC services, and personalized support to the communities we serve.
